BallinEurope figured he’d pass on this little promotional item for coaches of youth to college-age players, particularly since there’s a discount involved for readers of this website (see bottom of this post for details). The Stronger Team Huddle program is billed as no less than “an unparalleled learning experience, and this weekend camp promises to teach coaches about development of their players’ athleticism.
Says the STH PR: “A basketball player’s athleticism is the foundation of their entire game. If a player (or team) can improve their strength, explosiveness, quickness, reaction and overall conditioning level then they can perform the skills of the game (shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and defending) at a higher level, with more efficiency, and for longer before fatigue sets in.”
The course runs from September 28-30 and includes over 14 hours of lessons, accommodation, a course manual and more. Kicking the knowledge during the course will be strength & conditioning coaches Alan Stein of DeMatha High School and Blair O’Donovan of Gonzaga University.
The setting its Hyattsville, Maryland, and the campus of DeMatha High, a storied school which boasts Adrian Dantley and all-time winningest basketball coach Morgan Wootten. DeMatha was ranked #3 high school boy’s team in the country as recently as 2005, and the school continues to dominate Maryland basketball.
And about that discount: Save $400 (more than 30%) by mentioning “BiE” as a coupon code when checking out online. Normally, BiE’d advise you to “tell them BallinEurope sent you,” but with these coupon codes, you don’t have to.
