Croatia won the bronze medal match at the 2014 FIBA Europe Under 18 men’s championship with a 75-71 win over Greece. Much like their semi-final with Serbia, the Greeks didn’t lack grit but Croatia had too much quality in the end. Marko Arapovic had 24 points and 16 rebounds and Dragan Bender had 14 points and 10 assists for the victors.

The final place in the A division was claimed by Finland who won the third place game at the B tournament in convincing style, 70-50, over Sweden. It was a quality team effort by the Finns who prevented any Swede from scoring in double-digits.
Of course, Finland had to take somebody’s place. England dropped to the B division as they lost the relegation playoff in Konya. Matej Svoboda had 24 points and 7 rebounds while David Skranc had 15 points and 14 boards, as the Czech Republic beat England 73-59.
