.. and of course for former Milwaukee Buck, Lynn Greer. During a domestic league game in Greece this past weekend, Lynn Greer re-injured his right calf muscle. He will be out for another two weeks which makes him sit out against Montepaschi Siena and Tau Ceramica. Those are probably the two teams that Olympiakos really wants all their players on board since all three teams are 4-2 – only CSKA Moscow is up with a 5-1. It also was in the Euroleague game against CSKA where Greer suffered his first injury and the team lost the game. Don’t forget that Olympiakos inked Lynn Greer for about 7mio EUR at the beginning of the season.
The game tomorrow between Siena and Olympiakos will also be the meeting of the two big sponsors or the two teams – which are both the people that should have the most money – banks! Olympiakos, supported the second year by big time sponsor CITIBANK, while Siena is sponsored by Banca Monte dei Paschi.
So things don’t look that bad for Olympiakos – at least they have the MVP of the month November in Arvydas Macijauskas.
