Another week of fantasy basketball is just ahead, but due to a busy agenda, I had not too much time to do my usual scouting for the three trades. However, I didn’t really want to go for major changes anyway, I just wanted to get rid of Stratos Perperoglou. With the return of Vassilis Spanoulis, I don’t see Perperoglou getting lots of minutes in the future. So my choice to replace him was made very quickly. Bring in some young blood that travels to his home country: I’m talking about Emir Preldzic.
A player I was thinking of trading away was Immanuel McElroy of ALBA Berlin. But with Julius Jenkins’ current injury problems, I don’t see decreasing results for Imac and I kept him with my team, especially because ALBA is at home against a diminished Joventut team and needs to play a good game after the defeat in Vitoria last week.
Another question I was asking myself was whether to trade Sergi Llull away. His recent games have not been as good and his production has decreased. Though he would still be a sure gainer in value, I prefer to get ranking points right now instead of increasing my budget further. So I switched Sergi Llull for Steffen Hamann of ALBA Berlin. I really think that ALBA will go for a big game against Joventut and I don’t see how Hamann’s drives will be stopped by the Spanish defense. So here is the recap of my moves:
OUT: Stratos Perperoglou (Panathinaikos) and Sergi Llull (Real Madrid): 46.1 credits.
IN: Steffen Hamann (ALBA Berlin) and Emir Preldzic (Fenerbahce Ülker): 64.3 credits.
UPDATE: Well, I just checked the injuries and Raul Lopez is injured again. So Llull will very probably play more minutes again. So I kept him with my team and just made the Perperoglou-Preldzic trade.
