8:42 Bamberg hast lost 8 out of 9 games and goes today to Madrid who is at 6-3 and undefeated in Vistalegre
8:43 The first game in Bamberg ended 49-59, the lowest score of the whole Euroleague season
8:45 For Bamberg, Demond Greene will not play as he got his metal taken out of his foot which was a result of his dramatic injury. So he is not really fit. He warmed up but he will not play
8:45 On the other hand, Kimani Ffriend will play. he got the letter to play this morning
8:46 Another player who is not there is Tim Ohlbrecht, who still is handicaped wiuth his shoulder injury
8:48 The game is about to start
and Kimani Ffriend is in the starting 5
8:48 [Comment From Nico]
Real Madrid is favorite. The quotes on bwin.com are 1,01 for Real and 16,00 for Bamberg
8:49 [Comment From Guest]
who is playing on 2 with bamberg, is it garrett?
8:50 Garrett started as well as Suput who plays in place of Adi Okulaja
8:50 Reyes scores the first baskt of the game
8:50 and goes to the line for the bonus
8:50 [Comment From Nico]
Yes. It will be Garrett. But maybe, Garrett is playing on 1, because Hamann is a good shooter too
8:51 Hamann a good shooter? that we will see…
8:51 and Mumbru scores a triple to go for 6-0
8:52 [Comment From Nico]
Yes! We will see! His shoot is going better and better. 6:0 for Real Madrid. The first shoot of Friend is missed
8:53 Raul Lopez has two fouls but Bullock steals the ball in the passing lane and dunks home another buckt
8:53 [Comment From Nico]
Lopez are already two fouls.
8:53 [Comment From Roland]
Hamann caught a cold, will not play his best game for sure.
8:53 Time OUT Bamberg: 8-0
8:54 I see, in MAdrid they still play Avril Lavigne songs in Time Outs
8:54 [Comment From Pucki]
His shoot is going better, but he is not a real shooter, imho.
8:54 [Comment From Nico]
Bad start for Bamberg! I hope, they play better after the timeout
8:54 [Comment From Guest]
is anybody fit on the brose squad?
8:54 MAdrid with a press defense now and Mark Dickel brings up the ball
8:54 And suput misses another shot
8:55 and Mumbru scores another fast break to go for 10-0
8:55 [Comment From Nico]
10:0 Oh my god
8:56 4 minutes are played and Bamberg still without any score
8:56 But Real has 4 team fouls
8:57 [Comment From Nico]
12:0 No no no!
8:57 [Comment From Guest]
Yeah that’s something
8:57 Bamberg has a lot of trouble with the press defense
8:58 [Comment From Nico]
15:0 I cant believe it
8:58 Luis Bullock with the triple
8:58 now the stream is lagging
i dont see what’s happening
8:59 ok there we are again and the score is 18-2
8:59 and Chris Ensminger scores another two on a goal tending call
8:59 [Comment From Nico]
2 points of Bamberg. I dont believe it. But than a trhree-pointer of Bullock. 18-2
8:59 [Comment From G.Keyser]
Goal ! Bamberg scores!
9:00 Kerem Tunceri is on the court now and starts with a Turnover
9:00 and Suput scores on a press breakr
9:00 [Comment From Nico]
Now! Hamann come for Garrett. Will he play on 2 ?
9:00 Hamann has to bring up the ball against the press
9:01 Mark Dickel had huge problems to do so
9:01 Hamann is putting nice pressure on Tunceri but Axcel Hervelle is completely open at the top of the three point line and nets it in
9:02 Dickel loses another ball and Hervelle scores on the put back 23-6
9:02 [Comment From mr b]
can you see how many bamberg fans there are?
9:02 i dont see any, and I dont hear any
9:03 When Bauerman said before the game that they have nothing to lose, he was wrong. Bamberg is actually totally losing their confidence and their respct
9:03 [Comment From Nico]
i heared, there are around 100
9:03 @Nico, I read that too in the sd forum but I doubt that number is correct
9:03 And Madrid scores another 3
9:04 [Comment From Guest]
How is Kimani performing, has he made any impact?
9:05 @Guest Ffriend is present on the court physically
but no impact whatsoever for the moment
9:05 [Comment From Nico]
Ok! Ffriend made his first point of the FT-line.
9:05 Now a niuce hustle play by Ffriend to get the rebound and Sajmen Hauer enters the court for the first time and scores
9:05 [Comment From mr b]
whats wrong with bambergs defense? Normally we are good at keeping the score low
9:06 And Hauer on the line for the bonus FT
9:06 27-12
9:06 Haman looks really exhausted coming to the bench, he looks really ill
9:06 [Comment From insider]
why isn’t okulaja playing?
9:06 [Comment From Nico]
What are going up! Hauer and Tadda play
9:07 But Blagota Sekulic scores on the buzzer
Q1 is over 29-12
9:07 I have no idea why Okulaja is not playing
9:07 [Comment From Guest]
Bauermann already gives up
9:08 Why do you think Bauermann gives up. He can give minutes to his youngsters as they can nnot play in the Bundesliga as Bamberg has to win there. Here it is only a game they will however, so Tadda and Hauer can gain experience
9:08 [Comment From Roland]
unbelievable, but true. Hauer and Tadda. EL good bye.
9:08 [Comment From Guest]
What a bad signal for your team. How shall they believe in you in the future when you tell them about intensity and passion when you give up in the first quarter
9:08 [Comment From insider]
may it be true that he is suspended for the game for bad behavior against the referees after last game?
9:08 [Comment From Nico]
Yes! I think so too. Bauermann isnt interessted in the result. He know, that we have already lost
9:09 @insider that is a possibility but I have no information about it
9:09 and another steal in the passing lane
9:09 Bamberg has huge problems with the big defensive pressure of Madrid on the passes
9:10 33-12
9:10 Kimani Ffriend tries to force downlow but he gets called for a travel
9:10 [Comment From Guest]
Wasnt it the same in Nuremberg, big defense pressure of madrid…
9:10 [Comment From Nico]
Where is Okulaja??? He isnt in the list on euroleague.net
9:11 Ivan Pavic is now defending against Felipe Reyes
but his defense was typical Pavic style, hand in the face
9:12 Ffriend comes up with some rebounds, but he is nearly the only big guy playing as Okulaja is benched and Fenn is not playing at the moment
9:12 [Comment From mr b]
do you think okulaja really would make a difference tonight? i dont think so
9:13 Ffriend now scores agter an O reb
9:13 Normally, Sportdigital.tv is working great but today it is really slow.
9:13 Normally, Sportdigital.tv is working great but today it is really slow.
9:13 Normally, Sportdigital.tv is working great but today it is really slow.
9:14 And Sajmen Hauer is on the line for 2 after a Unsportsmanlike foul on him
9:14 and he is now the topscorer for the Germans with 5 points
9:14 33-16
9:14 [Comment From mr b]
seems that hauer really takes his chance tonight
9:15 What is going on with Robse Garrett there
he tries to catch the ball after his own dribble but misses the catch
9:15 9 TOs for Bamberg and Madrid scored 14pts out of it
9:16 and Madrid is dominating the boards
9:16 and Garrett with another catching error
9:16 TIME OUT
9:17 @Keith everything alright
9:17 [Comment From Guest]
Garrett is just too fat for coordinated moves
9:17 @Guest send us a picture of your body please 😉
9:18 Bamberg is defending in a zone now. Bauermann is still trying some stuff, and Mumbru scores a three ball
9:19 Hamann got fouled under his own basket in a rebounding play by the very sophisticated Mumbru
9:20 Suput plays in the lowpost but gets blocked by Luis Bullock
9:22 and Hervelle scores another three pointer
I have a question, when Hervelle is playing on the same side than Papadopoulos, how can the guy defending hervelle go downlow to double team
9:22 [Comment From mr b]
i ask myself how would rick stafford react as a player to a situation like this? he certainly would fight and show emotions. Does anybody fight in our team now like he did then?
9:22 unsportsmanlike foul against MAdrid again
9:23 actually, Bamberg is playing ok at the moment. Ensminger is doing his job and just scores a hook over Papadopoulos
9:23 and he is trying to hold his position against Big Papa
9:24 Pablo Aguilar is now on the court, a very promising player
9:24 [Comment From mr b]
how is the score?
9:24 45-21
9:25 and another 3
9:25 and also one for Fenn
9:26 very strange, another Bamberg player that has problems to catch the ball
9:26 nd Raul Lopez makes his three pointer for 51-24
9:27 but Bamberg is now also hitting some shots but Louis Bullock scores another triple
9:27 [Comment From ste]
How is Madrids record from 3 point range? Seems like they knock everything down!
9:27 [Comment From Guest]
Bullock for three
9:27 [Comment From Guest]
real 52% threes
9:28 HALFTIME 54-29 for Real
9:29 MAdrid with 10/19 from 3FG but also 8 offensive Rebounds
9:29 some other scores from tonight
9:30 [Comment From ste]
And I thougt ffriend should give Bamberg`s big men a new dimension – 8 offensive rebounds for the madrilenos…
9:30 Zalgiris – Siena 75-69 (Marko Popovic with 15pts and 26rkg, Paulius Jankuns with 13pts6rebs)
9:32 Cibona – Aris 76-83, a an away victory for Aris is really something special. Larry Ayuso had 23 and Chris Warren 29 for Cibona, Aris was led by my Fantasy team Sold player Massey who had 20pts and 7rebs
9:32 [Comment From Guest]
hallo nach madrid
9:33 Something that might interest Bamberg, Le Mans lost again. so Bamberg is still not the worst team of the Euroleague. The French played in Lithuania and the game ended badly as the Final score was 85-50
9:34 [Comment From Nico]
blogger, do you know the other results of bamberg, or did you see the other games bamberg loose often with few points
9:34 I saw quite a few ames of Bamberg
9:35 I saw them losing their first game at home against Roanne, I saw them in Roanne, and also at home against Madrid
9:35 [Comment From Nico]
bamberg isn t the worst team
9:35 [Comment From Guest]
Fanboy:)
9:36 [Comment From Jason]
It’s not just a question of money to build a good working team. Bauerman may be a good coach for the BBL, but for europe ? No way…
9:37 Always the Bauermann discussion. The problem is also about money IMO. Look at the roster of Real and look at the roster of BBB. Madrid can bring a player like Pelekanos as 10th player while such a guy would be a 30minutes+ player in Bamberg
9:37 Besides that, Plaza is Top5 coach in Europe actually while Dirk Bauerman may only be a Top25 coach in Europe
9:38 A big surprise in Istanbul where Efes Pilsen lost against Maccabi with their new head coach Zvi Sherf
9:39 Even 30pts from Scoonie Penn were not enough as on the other side Terence Morris came up with a huge 16pts 19rebs effort and Marcus Fizer scored 16pts in just 19 minutes
9:40 All the other games tonight look quite decided too already, as Olympiacos is up 16 in Bologna, Vitoria is up 32 against Sopot and Roma is trailing by 12 against Ülker
9:41 [Comment From Jason]
You may blame it on the money. I’m a Top Division Player, I know what I’m talking about.
9:42 I can understand your point Jason. But to put everything on the coach is not the correct thing too. BTW Jason, can you just message me where do you play. I won’t publish it if you dont like
9:43 [Comment From Guest]
Where is Ademola Okulaja? Is he ill?
9:44 No idea where Adi is? I ahve no information about that. And Bamberg starts with an airball by Ffriend
9:44 Sergio Lllull starts the second half
9:44 [Comment From Roland]
No one knows.
9:44 [Comment From Guest]
Jovo Stats for Sopot against Tau?
9:44 [Comment From allez]
Bauermann is not a good coach!Look at german national team…horrible
9:45 [Comment From Guest]
Is it possible, that he left the team?
9:45 I do not see the bench very clearly, I will try to check if he is on the bench
9:45 [Comment From Zuschauer]
Whats up with Ohlbrecht?
9:46 Ohlbrecht is injured, shoulder injury
9:46 [Comment From Guest]
Impossible is nothing.. Slogan of adidas (?)
9:46 @Guest Stanojevic, 4pts 5rebds
9:46 Bamberg is scoring a bit 57-33
9:46 [Comment From Zuschauer]
aha, thanks
9:46 [Comment From Guest]
Okulaja has a virus infection
9:47 [Comment From Guest]
bullock for three
9:48 [Comment From Roland]
Yepp, Virus for Adi.
9:48 and Suput makes a three ball too
9:48 but Real responds with a three too
9:49 Bamberg is doubling nearly every possession of Big Papa, and then he always connects to the open men on the three point line
9:49 [Comment From Guest]
Mumbru for another three
9:49 [Comment From Guest]
what a perimeter defense by bamberg
9:49 [Comment From allez]
score?
9:49 [Comment From Guest]
63-39
9:51 Suput scores another jumper and Bamberg is above the 40pts mark in offense
9:51 65-41
9:52 Ffriend seems to learn quickly as he knows already how to act to provoke a foul from Big Papa
9:53 Madrid already scored 27pts of TOs from Bamberg
9:53 wow, Darren Fenn with a submarine shot
9:53 [Comment From Zuschauer]
How many TOs from Bamberg?
9:54 Darren Fenn is actually the top scorer for Bamber
TIME OUT
9:54 el.net is lagging again so i have no stats for the moment
9:55 [Comment From Guest]
13, but they lack good transition d
9:55 [Comment From Guest]
is this a live game?
9:55 this game is live yes
9:56 [Comment From Guest]
and bamberg gets blown out? is their new center playing?
9:56 70-44 the actual score, Ffriend is playing and doing ok
9:56 [Comment From Guest]
hervelle and fenn for three
9:57 [Comment From Guest]
and hervelle again for three
9:58 Hauer back on the court for Bamberg
9:58 73-44 is the actual score, no comments in German please
9:58 [Comment From Guest]
75:44 hervelle scores again
9:59 Q3 is over 75-44 for Madrid. nearly no fouls any more. It looks like this game will be over soon
10:00 [Comment From Zuschauer]
no chance for bamberg
10:01 [Comment From Roland]
The game was already after 5 min. over
10:01 [Comment From Jason]
I’m outta here. Keep x-ing your fingers for Bamberg, even if they can’t win this game.
10:02 Steffen Hamann gets a rest in the 2nd half as Hauer is playing right now.
10:03 What a stupid play by Garrett. Ball is going out of bounds, Garrett dives but no Bamberg player is ready to receive the ball. and Madrid scores on the easy layup. Let that ball go out and set up a defense
10:03 [Comment From Zuschauer]
knows somebody the points from hamann
10:03 and another unsportsmanlike foul on Hauer
10:04 no, it was on Ensminger off the ball
10:05 [Comment From Guest]
ensminger misses both
10:05 yes, he is not really a born FT shooter
10:07 Dennis Wucherer, the German commentator had jsut a nice thought. Bamberg is defending really hard, but hard only in terms of physically hard. They defend without taking any risk on passing interceptions. Bamberg is actually the second worst team in the Euroleague in steals
10:07 [Comment From Zuschauer]
score?
10:07 77-46
10:07 and Tunceri scores a triple too
10:07 34 pts differnce
10:08 Ffriend gets whistled now by the attendance as he misses a dunk
10:08 but he got fouled on the attempt. Ffriend with 4pts 6rebs and 3stls so far
10:09 and he nearly stole another one
10:09 [Comment From GuestX]
Bamberg is not gambling on steals cuz it weakens the defense. in case the player misses the steal which will often result in easy baskets
10:10 @GuestX that may be true, but Madrid gambled on every pass and because of their hude defensive pressure on the ball hgandling players, they succeded nearly on evey attempt to finish with 1-0 plays
10:10 And another nice story about Ffriend: his family is still in Madrid, but his dog is with him in Bamberg
10:10 [Comment From Guest]
82-47
10:11 [Comment From Guest]
84-47 now, timeout bamberg
10:12 Hmm, when i see some guys playing D on the Bamberg team, I have some doubts about their basic Defense skills. They run out like fools and don’t go for an approaching step on the wing players. Instead the run out like crzay and they get beaten easily of the drive
10:12 [Comment From Zuschauer]
3 points, than 40 points diff.
10:13 As you may have remarked, I dont comment the actual game really as the score is close to a blowout. i try to see some points on what BBB has to work for future success
10:13 Where are the 39% that voted in favor of Bamberg?
10:13 [Comment From Global]
Nice BBB!
10:13 [Comment From sis]
what’s the score ?
10:14 84-47
10:14 [Comment From Zuschauer]
whats up with the people, they think, that bamberg wins this game? It’s a joke?
10:14 [Comment From Guest]
Ffriend FG% 17 %
10:14 Dennis Wucherer is telling stories about his different memorabilia he earned during his basketball career
10:14 [Comment From sis]
😉
10:15 [Comment From Stef]
Hey Guys nice too see you
10:16 so nobody really cares anymore about this game. and Big Papa with an O foul
10:17 I want to see some plays for Tadda in the last 3 minutes. When I saw him last year in the NBBL Final 4, I never thought I would see him on a Euroleague court. Nice development by him
10:17 [Comment From Stef]
I came home from work this moment we are going to win or?
10:17 [Comment From Zuschauer]
hey, the voting isn’t who will lose, it’s who will win? 😉
10:17 Actual score 84-53
10:17 [Comment From Chosen One]
That’s quite funny. I enjoy watching the livescore and at the same time I read the start post in the match forum..
10:18 @Chosen One what do you mean?
10:18 3 minutes to play
10:18 [Comment From Stef]
Is Karsten in MAdrid?
10:18 Tadda played some minutes
10:18 [Comment From Linelson]
Who’s best: Nikola Pekovic or Tiago Splitter?
10:19 @Linelson thats difficult to say in a few words and is not the subject right here. check www.europeanprospects.com for my updates on the different young european players
10:19 [Comment From watcher1]
I saw Tadda too. About 4 weeks ago. Pro B match Breitengüßbach – Kirchheim
10:19 [Comment From Guest]
Pekovic!
10:19 [Comment From Chosen One]
I mean the difference between the score and Eskerrik’s post in the match thread /Sorry
10:20 Tadda back on the court
10:21 What is the future of German basketball on the Top European Level? The big sponsors are missing as the potential from attendance is there. I mean Bamberg is probably one of the best and most devoted crowds in the whole Euroleague
10:21 [Comment From Guest]
Bamberg’s problem is that they rely too much on their physical defense, which might by helpful in German league but does not win you anything in international competition. Euroleague teams have much better offense players and so their defense can’t compensate that they lack power in offense (which is partly because they don’t have the players and partly because defense exhausts them).
10:21 [Comment From Guest]
Bullock for three
10:21 [Comment From zuschauer]
Tadda is a very young player, is it right?
10:22 Tadda is born in 1988, same age than Ohlbrecht
10:23 last minutes is ticking and the socre is 93-57
10:23 [Comment From Guest]
again bullock for three
10:23 [Comment From Guest]
Who is Tadda?
10:23 Karsten Tadda, 1988 born guard
10:24 GAME OVER in MAdrid 93-57
10:24 What can we learn of this game. Bamberg missed Greene, Okulaja, Ohlbrecht, Hamann reduced physically
10:24 [Comment From Guest]
Hmm I watched Omer Asık today and he beat Lorbek and Fucka by himself.. Good pick for this year’s draft..
10:25 @Guest, thanks for the update on Asik. In deedn he comes up big this year
10:25 [Comment From zuschauer]
you don’t know Tadda? He plays for Bamberg and Breitengueßbach in Pro B (3. league)
10:25 [Comment From Guest]
-36, bamberg managed to beat out Le Mans for the highest loss this gameday by one point;)
10:25 SO i will stay online afew minutes if you have any questions about the game
10:26 I can also help you probably if you have other basketball related questions.feel free to ask
10:26 [Comment From Kerem]
Oops there’s my name.. Yeah and Emir P played well too.. Sad thing though, James Flight was not so active..
10:26 [Comment From Linelson]
Panathinaikos is the best team in the euroleague? Who’s the best player in Europe?
10:27 @Linelson PAO the best team in Europe, you may be right. actually the best individual player in my opinion is still Jasikevicius. He can decide games by himself. Can’t wait to see the playoffs approahcing and him stepping up big
10:27 [Comment From zuschauer]
what was hamanns problem?
10:28 @zuschauer Hamann had caught a cold and he really looked ill
10:28 [Comment From Kerem]
Willie Solomon 😀
10:28 @Kerem, nice try
10:28 [Comment From GuestX]
What do ya think what Karstens ceiling is?
10:29 @GuestX Actually, I never thought Tadda would ever become a Euroleague player. Of course he is not a Euroleague player by his actual level, but at least he sees the floor on that level. If he ends up being a regular contributor in the Bundesliga, that would be nice. But I have some doubts if he has the qualities to reach that level on a good team
10:29 [Comment From zuschauer]
I think BBL
10:29 [Comment From zuschauer]
ok thx
10:30 [Comment From Kerem]
Try? What try? It’s the truth.. He just needs an anti-deppression pill before the tipoff 😀
10:30 @Kerem you really mean that Willie is the best player in Europe? He is a fantastic individuality but he never really showed huge BAsketball intelligence during the games I saw? maybe he improved in that area the last months?
10:30 [Comment From Linelson]
Brazillian PF JP Batista is a good player? He has little minutes in this season, Rytas have very foreigns
10:31 @Linelson I like JP as a player too. He sees limited minutes with Rytas this year but the emergence of Petrukonis was not expected like that by the Lithuanians I guess
10:32 [Comment From Kerem]
Batista is a one dimensional player and at the host.. Watch his last few games he has become a leader..
10:33 @Kerem JP will never become a Magic Johnson, that’s clear. But I like players like him personally
10:33 [Comment From bad english]
Which german “Youngster” has the most potential?
10:34 @bad english if you check the 1988 born class or older. Tim Ohlbrecht is the biggest potential by far
10:35 @bad English if you go for younger players, i see some guys like Elias Harris, Robin Benzing or Christian Standhardinger in 1989 born guys.
for the even younger guys, it is difficult to say but for example a top talent is Alexander Andreev who switched teams this year and signed a deal with Joventut Badalona. He is actually playing with their U18 team in the famous Hospitalet Tournament. If you want to follow that, check www.europeanprospects.com where I give regular updates on young european players
10:35 [Comment From Kerem]
:S outty..
10:35 [Comment From zuschauer]
i think ohlbrecht too, he is a good player
10:36 Here are all the scores for tonight
Lietuvos Rytas – Le Mans
85-50
Cibona – Aris TT Bank
76-83
Efes Pilsen – Maccabi Elite
68-83
Zalgiris – Montepaschi
75-69
Tau Ceramica-Prokom Trefl
98-74
Virtus VidiVici – Olympiacos
80-91
Lottomatica – Fenerbahce
63-84 F
Real Madrid – Brose Baskets
93-57 F
10:37 [Comment From zuschauer]
Harris and Standhardinger are very good players in Devision Pro B. In a few years i think, teay are top players
10:38 @zuschauer yes, both have very interesting potential, also on European level IMO. But both of team need also tougher opposition soon in order to develop. It is good that they gain experience by playing a lot of minutes in the ProB. But they dominate there already so they have to step forward soon
10:39 [Comment From Roland]
In a view years their chance is gone if they stay in Germany.
10:40 @Roland what do you mean by saying that their chance is gone? You mean that they have to go to European teams in order to develop?
10:40 [Comment From zuschauer]
Thats right, thas a problem, the german leagu isn’t so good
10:41 Already, as both of them play in the ProB, the third division, BBL would be a huge step for them. and they are born in 1989. so they are still very young
10:43 compare them with Ohlbrecht who is a bigger potential IMO and who is 1 year older. He is far away from being a big time player in the BBL RIGHT NOW. In my opinion, it is not a good idea to have 1989 or even younger players with BBL teams, they should develop and play in lower leagues. Then they can step on the BBL level when they are like 20 years old with some basketball in their head
10:44 [Comment From zuschauer]
yes, they are very young, but I think in a few years both are very good players and so they go to other teams in Europe. But before thos time they should play in ProB it’s better if they are so young
10:45 @zuschauer right. on the other hand it makes me somehow strange feelings when I see that Spanish teams are already signing 1991 born Germans? Why no big German team signs such a guy and develops him?
10:46 [Comment From Guest]
Yepp, the basketball education is just not good enough in our country. Learning means the need to move abroad for young german players. And the Pro B isn´t a great place at all for a talent to develope. I´m not sure about the higher leagues as well.
10:47 @Gust so in your opinion, it is better for young players to move abroad in order to develop?
10:48 moving abroad is surely a good experience, not only in basketball terms. My question was just why top German teams don’t sign youngsters with potential instead of Spanish teams
10:48 [Comment From zuschauer]
i don’t know, in germany they always look for american players
10:50 the fact of looking into US players is understandable as most teams can not plan over a 2-3 year period. they need immediate success and then it is easier to take a guy from the US, even if he is not ready for BBL, you can kick him out whenever you want and take the next one. That does not work with prospects which you have to develop over a few years
10:50 [Comment From CC]
maybe another reason is, that there aren’t enough good youngsters, who can play a roll in the German teams
10:51 @cc clearly, there is a gap right now. but there are some good guys coming up that should integrate the roster and rotation i a 2-3 seasons

The problem in ProB is, that there just the fisrt 5 Teams are good, and the others aren’t so good, there is a big difference between thr first and the last teams
10:52 @zuschauer of course ProB is not a huge level, but it is better for the players to play 35 minutes instead of 0 minutes in the BBL

Sorry, forgot my name. Yes, coaching young talents seems to be much more successfull in other european countrys. For example Spain, the Baltics or Greece. There are the coaching systems much more efficient for youngsters. But in the end, it´s also a matter of the attention and money, that people spending Basketball.
10:54 @Roland good message. But this comes all back to Basketball poppularity in General. when you have 1mio kids, the chances that 5 good players come out are bigger than if you only have a pool of 50.000 kids to chose from. and that’s in my opinion one of the main problems in Germany. Basketball is not a National sport that kids play “by nature” like it is in the Balkan or Baltic Area
10:54 [Comment From zuschauer]
yeah that is right, if the american player not good enough, the teams kick them and 1 or 2 days later, there is the next player
10:54 [Comment From zuschauer]
yes, i know a young player, he played last year 2. league and noy bbl and in bbl just 1-2 min. so thats not good for him
10:55 @zuschauer what does he learn from playing 1 minute and sitting 39 minutes on the bench? Practice of course is good and he learns from the old guys. but what is essential in young years is playing playing playing
10:55 [Comment From cap]
betz?
10:56 [Comment From Roland]
