Aaaaaaaand already BallinEurope needs to change the official list of European players in the NBA: The New Orleans Hornets have signed a couple of Euroleague regulars with which to start training camp.
Yesterday, the Hornets announced that Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Jannero Pargo would be joining the team for the preseason. Pops may be the slightly more well-traveled of the pair, with stints in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Spain, Russia and England to his credit. Last seen playing with Team Britain in Eurobasket qualifiers, Mensah-Bonsu also put in some time with CSKA Moscow last season in their Euroleague final four bid.
Pargo, who rumor had attached to a few European teams this offseason, will instead be staying in the ‘States for the time being; the former Dynamo Moscow player was with New Orleans previously for the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.
