Before the upcoming Euroleague Fantasy League, we’ll take a look at the different national fantasy leagues set up around the continent. The biggest is, of course, the Spanish SuperManager for the ACB; we’ll come back to this later. Today, we’re going to introduce you to the German Bundesliga Fantasy League organized in collaboration with FIVE magazine and Crossover-Online.
The league is entering its 2nd season, and a few rule changes have been made in order to be more in line with the current situation in the German Bundesliga. But first of all, how can you participate? Follow this link to register your user name. Everything is self-explanatory despite being in German. Just a few quick hints: “bestätigen” means “confirm,” “Vorname” is “forename,” “Nachname” is “surname,” and “Ort” means “city.” To enter the league, you just have to go back to the Crossover-Online homepage and click on the “BuLi-Managerspiel” icon at the top of the middle column. Then name your team and there you go!
Of course, the next thing to do is to join the BallinEurope.com division which you can do in the left menu bar by clicking on “Meine Division” and then “Ranking,” where you enter BallinEurope in the search window. When clicking on “Division beitreten” you just need to enter the password “ballineurope” and you’re now a member of the BallinEurope.com division!
So much for the organisational part; now here are the rules. These Germans are marked with an “x” in the “Mein Team” (My team) and in the player lists. When in your roster, you can add a player by clicking on “Spieler wählen” while you can change your initial choice by clicking on “Austauschen.”
